The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
